Redox, founded in 2014 by former Epic employees, is a healthcare API that licenses connections between software developers and health systems on a per-connection monthly subscription. By the interview, it had about 35 employees, roughly $14 million raised, around 200 live applications across about 100 health systems, and an estimated $400,000 in monthly recurring revenue, with only two lost connections. Growth has come mostly from developers who bring Redox into health systems and from inbound content.
