Accelerometer sensors Startups

Newton is a device-agnostic software app that uses phone and smartwatch accelerometers to detect seizures and help patients track medications, starting with epilepsy. The company reports over 10,000 lifetime registered users, mostly from word of mouth and doctor referrals, and monetizes through pharmacy lead generation and pharma market intelligence. Its revenue figures were not disclosed, and the $1 million figure discussed was a goal for the year.
